Since the end of the fall of 2016, the ski resort of Grandvalira of the Principat of Andorra (Encamp and Canillo), the "Riba escorxada" track, already has some mechanical escalators for the next winter season.
We have designed and calculated the structure of wood to cover and protect from the snow, the rain and the direct wind the escalators installed on a concrete base. To overcome the difference, two sections of stairs were made and consequently two pergolas.

The entire structure with glass was lined to give a feeling of space and brightness in the interior, while avoiding a visual impact of a construction with the transparency of the glass and the warmth of the wood.
This installation represents an improvement to facilitate the access to the bar-restaurant of the "Riba escorxada" track, to save the difference in all the skiers of Grandvalira.
